Twin Archer Brewpub in downtown Muncie serves local draft beer and a variety of food in a charming atmosphere.
In some ways, going to Twin Archer Brewpub in downtown Muncie feels like you’re re-entering your elementary school days. Brown sheets of butcher paper and mason jars full of crayons await guests at each table, allowing you to doodle and draw as you wait for your food. Classic arcade games line the wall.
But here’s the catch: You can experience this childhood nostalgia all while drinking local draft beer and chowing down on delicious pub food.
Opened in 2016, Twin Archer has quickly become a staple in the downtown Muncie dining scene. The restaurant lets you pair local draft beer on tap with a variety of sandwiches, salads, pasta, and appetizers.
One of the pub’s signature sandwiches is The Charlie Cardinal, which features a fried chicken breast tucked inside a brioche bun with crispy bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and house made ranch.
But it’s hard not to miss with a burger. Check out the bullseye burger, a ⅓ pound patty topped with a slice of aged cheddar and all the classic toppings. Or, if you’re feeling on the healthy side, order the rooti judi, which includes a house made veggie burger with goat cheese spread, mixed greens, tomato, and maple chipotle, all sandwiched between a brioche bun.
And if you’re really wanting that nostalgic childhood meal, Twin Archer offers a variety of mac and cheeses, complete with cavatappi pasta, a creamy cheese sauce and fun toppings like pulled pork, shredded chicken, mushrooms. The best part? All mac and cheese is served with a side of toasty garlic bread. (It is worth noting these mac and cheeses don’t come out of a box—which, let’s be honest, is probably what you actually ate as a kid.)
