Dan Walter recommends the iconic “Abbey Road” Beatles record to patrons.

Before opening Dan’s Downtown Records in downtown Muncie, Indiana, Dan Walter worked for 25 years, selling records at MusicLand and Karma records. Although he has no musical talent, Walter has always been a music fan.
Walter suggests that everyone should listen to The Beatle’s “Abbey Road” album.

“Every song on that album is worth listening to,” he says. “Not only is it excellent music but there is so much thought put into every song.”

Walter says that The Beatles touched so many lives with their music in their day and younger people should take the opportunity to experience “The Beatles magic.”

“Abbey Road” was The Beatles’ 11th album. It was released in the United Kingdom in September of 1969 and in the U.S. in October of the same year. It was the second to last album The Beatles produced before they broke up. The album cover is the popular image of the band members walking across a zebra crosswalk.
